For Emily's Birthday her daddy bought tickets to the circus. We had such a good time. I didn't get many pictures because it was a little crazy, but here are the few that I did get. We got there early and went down to meet some of the performers and get their autographs. We took a few pictures with them as well.

Ben's First Day of School

Monday was Ben's first day of Kindergarten. I was very sad, he was little nervous, but we both did really well. I managed to drop him off without crying, but started crying as soon as I was in the car driving to work. So sad to see him growing up so quickly! Seems like just yesterday he was born and I was holding him in my arms for the very first time. It is unbelievable to me how fast the time goes!

Wouldn't take nothing for my journey now...

This is a quote from Maya Angelou, and most days I feel this is very appropriate for my life. I find as I look back even five years that I am a different person. I almost don't even recognize her when I see her in pictures. This could be because I have gained and lost a few pounds in the last few years, or the fact that my hair style change a bit every once in awhile, or it could be that I have grown.

I like to think I have grown, matured, become wiser, and all those other wise adult things to say. I was walking this morning in my favorite little green belt by the kids' school and thinking that my life is really pretty great. Recent events have reminded me that I am truly blessed.

As I talk through the last three weeks, I am amazed at how much you can see God's hands in all that has happened. If this opportunity had presented itself at any other time in the last five years I would have had to turn it down. Perfect timing. God has perfect timing, and He knows where you should be, whether you believe it or not.

No matter where I have been, or where I am going I know that God is always right beside me being the perfect Father that I need Him to be. He is leading me through this journey of life, and I will tell you....I wouldn't take nothing for my journey now. No matter how hard it has been or is going to be in the future. It is my journey, written only for me.

Craziness...

So the last week and a half has been down right crazy! We have been going non-stop, and the transition from one job to the next is also a little crazy. My last day is Friday, and my first day is the 17th. Ten days in between. Lots to do...lots to think about...

All of that was to explain my lack of posting. I need to post, I love to post, but I am just too dog gone tired to do it. Soon I will have lots of free time, yeah right, so it should be easier for me. Those of you who follow my other blog, my goal is to finish up the story I am working on next week and start a new one...SO lots of post coming for that.

Love you all...will post soon...I promise...don't give up on me! :)
